In these defining times that we are existing in with COVID being a continuing threat to our population, behavioral health facilities face a large task at hand: how can you make ordering and receiving food as safe as possible for those in recovery?
Ensuring the safety and comfort of each guest is every behavioral health facility’s ultimate goal, and essentially every dining facility in the nation is working hard to accommodate these recent changes and health hazards that have been brought forth. Immune systems can be compromised with the usage of certain drugs which makes those recovering at an increased risk to COVID.
This is why GKM has done the work and research necessary to provide the safest possible food service for behavioral health facilities during the time of COVID and beyond. We have worked with apps to provide remote ordering to rooms that the chefs in the facility will receive virtually and deliver accordingly. Of course, safety measures are to be taken prior to, during, and after the production of all meals.
